Seek the blessings of Mata Sita, Lord Pashupatinath and Muktinath on our 11 Nights / 12 Days Nepal Yatra, a confirmed group departure from Ahmedabad on 10 March 2027. Travel by train to Gorakhpur and on into Nepal, then spend a night in Janakpur, three nights in Kathmandu and three nights in Pokhara. Meals as per the programme, an AC luxury bus for every sightseeing tour and an experienced Tour Manager with the group throughout are all taken care of.

Day-by-day itinerary

  1. Board the train from Ahmedabad at 9:00 AM and begin the journey towards Gorakhpur, the gateway to Nepal.

    Overnight: On board the train

  2. Arrive in Gorakhpur at around 4:00 PM. Freshen up and have dinner, then set off at night by bus for Janakpur.

  3. Arrive in Janakpur in the morning and check in to the hotel. After resting, enjoy half-day sightseeing of Janakpur Dham, the birthplace of Mata Sita, including darshan at the grand Janaki Mandir.

  4. Check out in the morning and drive to Kathmandu, stopping at Dhanushadham, where Lord Ram is believed to have broken the divine bow of Lord Shiva to win the hand of Mata Sita. Arrive in Kathmandu and check in.

  5. A day of local sightseeing in Kathmandu, including darshan at Guhyeshwari Shaktipeeth and Doleshwar Mahadev, subject to time.

  6. Continue exploring Kathmandu with another day of local sightseeing.

  7. Check out after breakfast and drive towards Pokhara, stopping on the way for darshan of Manakamana Mata, the wish-fulfilling goddess (cable car at own cost). Arrive in Pokhara and check in.

  8. An early start for Jomsom and the sacred Muktinath Dham, revered by Hindus and Buddhists alike, followed by darshan at Pulaha Ashram. Return to Pokhara by evening.

  9. A day of local sightseeing in Pokhara, the lakeside city set against the Annapurna range (boating at own cost).
